{"id":6237,"date":"2025-07-24T16:45:33","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T15:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btsasociados.com\/?p=6237"},"modified":"2025-07-24T16:56:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T15:56:09","slug":"registration-with-the-catalan-housing-agencys-register-of-large-property-owners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.btsasociados.com\/en\/registration-with-the-catalan-housing-agencys-register-of-large-property-owners\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration with the Catalan Housing Agency&#8217;s Register of Large Property Owners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Catalan Regional Government has set up a <a href=\"https:\/\/web.gencat.cat\/es\/tramits\/tramits-temes\/Comunicacio-de-la-condicio-de-gran-tenidor-dhabitatge\">procedure<\/a> for large property owners to submit a declaration stating the number and list of properties they own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This form must be completed by individuals or legal entities that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>own more than ten urban properties for residential use or a built area of more than 1,500 m\u00b2 for residential use, excluding garages and storage rooms;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>own five or more urban properties for residential use located in <a href=\"https:\/\/dogc.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-dogc\/?documentId=980806\">areas<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/dogc.gencat.cat\/es\/document-del-dogc\/index.html?documentId=980806\">declared to be tense residential market environments.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This obligation is based on the legal framework established by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=700006\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=700006\" target=\"_blank\">Law 24\/2015, of 29 July<\/a>, on urgent measures to address the emergency in the field of housing and energy poverty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=965888\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=965888\" target=\"_blank\">Law 12\/2023, of 24 May<\/a>, on the right to housing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=1007372\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portaljuridic.gencat.cat\/ca\/document-del-pjur\/?documentId=1007372\" target=\"_blank\">Decree Law 2\/2025, of 25 February.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions about this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone on N\u00faria Mart\u00ed Garc\u00eda or by email at <a href=\"mailto:nmg@btsasociados.com\">nmg@btsasociados.com<\/a>.
